New Feature: NCD/CAF Comparison Tool

Another substantial release, this time, with integrated NCD/CAF Tool, well, at least partially. The more important feature of the old NCD/CAFD Tool, the NCD/CAF Compare and FA/FP Compare tool has been integrated into the app. This took lots of time, but I did enjoy making it, so it's well worth it.


NCD Comparison tool supports both Coding 1.0 and 2.0 format and can be used to compare against default values, or against another NCD from the same ECU. I use this feature often, and lot of people reminded me how useful it is for them, I actually like this more than the original NCD comparison tool.


New Feature: FA Comparison Tool


FA tool will read an existing FA file, and the vehicle profile (FP) will be recalculated. Simple comparison tool.

I'm planning to add more, as time permits. I hope these new features somehow help in making your cars more personal and more enjoyable.


Others

This build monitors the launch process and will recover if it detects launch failure. When it detects launch failure, it will terminate the process and notify you, giving you a chance to try again. When it does, restart the app before trying again. Not sure yet what is causing it to get stuck, but I've seen it happen with or without optimization, with or without the launcher.

I just noticed that this build asks for password every time it is started. It's not supposed to do that. I'll look into it and likely come up with a quick update

    Version 5.0.5 works good with 3.40.0 and 3.39.1
    But with 3.36 and 3.38 fail to start
    Instead of founding jre64 says found i386 jvm and crash

    This problem happens to me in previous version but with 3.40.0
    Now seems to make this problem with 3.36 and 3.38

    Very slow when reading modules. failure occurs.
    For example, in the case of the S18A vehicle, reading the BDC module is very slow, and in the case of the 44ED caf, it cannot read.
    Please improve the reading speed so that it can be read perfectly.

    If install fresh E-Sys version first time when open with Launcher it opens...close launcher and open again...result crash or no open

    for me only work esys 3.38 and launcher 5.03 all other launchers and esys either crash or dont even open

    Hi Tokenmaster,

    the new Version have a Problem with the E-sys 3.36.3, maybe its started maybe not and
    then have a Problem with die FDL Editor and the NCD Compare, some NCD's are displayed decrypted but some only with ".." , this happened to me during the NCD Compares

    by E-Sys 3.35.3 comes JRE Check Failed.

    Up to 3.38.2 runs All Good.

    and by the way SWL SEC expires in 7 days. :)))

    short addendum, I've now noticed that it actually affects all versions,

    after a while it feels like the SWL-SEC is no longer logged in and the NCDs are no longer decrypted. say there are only points

    I've now loaded 14 NCDs and from the 15th onwards I only got points.

    Can start E-Sys 3.40 version with Launcher 5.0.6 only first time after fresh install both on Win10 20H2 build 19042 (spec AMD Ryzen 5 3500U + 8Gb RAM). After that launch failed every run for any E-Sys version I tried (3.40.0, 3.39.1, 3.39.0, 3.38.2). Any help is appreciated
